Gottingen, Germany, September 2023

 I was called for a conference of the mathematical society having taken place near Gottingen, Germany. 

On the way to go to this academic conference, I have sketched Gottingen old town. I also sketched the conference centre attaching an accommodation area for hosts. 

The conference went well smoothly, and I received nice feedbacks about my poster presentation.

 

Where East meets West: Belgrade, Serbia

This is a pencil drawing of the fortress in Belgrade, Serbia.

The gate shown on the left hand side of this picture is a Turkish style architecture whilst the Orthodox church attached to this fortress is an European style. This whole architectural design represents the history of Balkans where the long history of various conflicts between the Eastern Europe (Serbia and surroundings) and the Islamic empires (Such as Osman Turkish empire), and the West Europe (such as with Austria-Hungary empire under Hapsburg dynasty) although Hapsburg armies could hardly reach this fortress due to the tremendous difficulty to conquer this fortified fortress located on the top of hill.

A Happy New Year!

A Happy New Year! I wish this year is gonna be successful for us! :)

I have been back home in Japan for 3 weeks in my uni's winter holiday.

I have travelled a place called "Shikoku" one of the big island beside "Honsyu" the main island, where is famous for Udon the Japanese wheat noodle so I have eaten a load of it :P

The picture above is the picture of a small island and the pass connecting the beach and there which appears only when the tides has gone!
