My commoent on Ayn Rand on Communism and Socialism

The reason why I admire Ayn Rand is not only because of her ethics/political-philosophy but also her metaphysics theory.

Ms. Rand highly accused of their philosophy more than their actual politics. She praised their consistency and aspiration at least. She accused the common characteristics of the "modern philosophy" like German Idealism most notably Kant and Hegel. She pointed out that the common characteristics of all the modern philosophical theories are that they regard highly of focusing on non-existent abstract beings and highly neglecting the reality. So, this characteristics induces individuals to suffer from a sickness of escaping from reality.


As a matter of fact, I do not quite agree with Libertarianism because it is based on the similar or possibly the same metaphysics as socialism and communism, the late modern school of philosophy. The modern ethics like not only socialism, communism, nationalism, and fascism but also classical anarchism and libertarianism contain the same disease.

These modern philosophies indoctrinate individuals to unconditionally think that their action ultimately based on their ideal can transform their reality. These political philosophies actually enslave the mind of men as a spiritual totalitarian like Sartre and Kierkegaard described! These political philosophies preoccupy men's mind too much with pursuing their ideal and keep them away from enjoying their life in the reality!!


In regard to the definition and my opinion about Communism and Socialism (Not as a political faction; As a political philosophical theory), the main reason why I disagree with Communism is that it is pretty much based on Hegelian metaphysics: Communism is regarded as the second most evolved synthesis before evolving into an Utopia/Heaven. By means of the theory, Socialism equally distributes to people within a limited amount of resources, and Communism unconditionally equally gives people away what they deserve.

Ms. Rand highly accused of their philosophy more than their actual politics. She praised their consistency and aspiration at least. What she really wanted to contradict was the fundamental root of these politics rather than ranting on these individuals participating into these modern politics.
